PAUL A REID Observer West Writer
Thursday, January 12, 2012
DUNCANS, Trelawny — Leaders Holland United will this afternoon seek their sixth straight win in the Trelawny Football Association's National Rums of Jamaica Major League when they travel to second placed Duanvale.
Holland got off to a fast start, winning their first five games to lead the standings with 15 points, two more than Duanvale. Both teams will be defending unbeaten records.
But while Holland are perfect so far, Duanvale have just dropped two points in a draw with Jackson Town and both teams will be facing their toughest opponent to date.
Meanwhile Granville, who had their four games winning streak snapped, will be hoping to return to winning ways when the travel to Sea-Road field to face Flames.
Granville dropped to third place in the standings after their loss to lowly -placed Clarks Town, but should be able to get the better of Flames, who are on four points and in eighth place in the 12- team league.
In another game scheduled, Prospect Links and Friendship will meet at Samuel Prospect.
