Donway, Montego Bay's newest entertainment spot, has just about everything to satisfy one's entertainment needs-- both locally and internationally.

Located on Montego Bay's Hip Strip, Donway comes equipped with a bar, a dessert and coffee shop, a nightclub, sports bar, wine cellar, gift shop, an on the roof lounge area, gourmet grill and an amphitheatre, which is the main feature of the property.

Managing Director for Donway Donnal Chung says that it was important for her to create something that was not available in the resort city of Montego Bay.

"Montego Bay needed what I call a village. A place where people can come and feel safe, relax and enjoy themselves and have an all-inclusive experience. The difference is not necessarily in the offerings but in the experience that you have when you come here," she explained.

Chung mentioned further that Donway is for the "Jamaican people."

"This company was built for Jamaicans and by Jamaicans. So many people in Montego Bay complain that the offerings for entertainment in the west is lacking and I did my due diligence and found this to be true. Donway is my way of giving back to Jamaica," she emphasised.

Donway opened its doors on December 15 last year and Chung is already pleased with the response from the public.

" Donway has been opened for almost four weeks now and I am extremely grateful for the support so far from our patrons, our coffee shop is doing especially well," she added.

The facility currently employs 132 persons.
