Teen Chef Summer Snacks
6 10" tortilla wraps
1 lb chicken breast strips
4 oz sweet peppers (red)
4 oz sweet peppers (green)
8 oz sharp white cheddar cheese
8 oz cheddar cheese
1 tsp salt
3 fl oz vegetable oil
1 oz pepper flakes (dried)
1 Place chicken breast strips in a bowl, and marinate with salt, one fluid ounce oil and pepper flakes.
2 Over a medium flame, add one fluid ounce oil to the sauté pan. Sauté the chicken tenders until fully cooked, remove, cool and dice.
3 Place the tortilla wrap on a cutting board. Start by filling half of the wrap with cheese, chicken, peppers, onions and more cheese, then fold the wrap in half.
4 Over a medium flame, add one fluid ounce oil to the sauté pan. Add the tortilla and sear on both sides until light brown and crispy.
5 Remove, cut into triangles and serve.
