Interesting facts

Sir Harold Mitchell was a British parliamentarian, who was also a colonel in the Army. He bought a large property in Jamaica, which was first used as a cadet training centre (semi-military institution). It was then developed into a cadet high school by his daughter Mary Jane Mitchell-Green.

The school is wholly funded by the Mitchell-Green Foundation and starts at grade 9 through to grade 11.

Prospect College offers a curriculum of 12 subjects that range from speech and drama, cadet and music training along with information technology and principles of accounts.

The all-male population are admitted on full scholarship; no fees are payable and all boys must live on campus.
