Artiste: Rondell Positive

Album Title: Sticks Nor Stones Reggae Worship

GET ready to go on a spiritual reggae journey with Rondell Amiel Allen, who goes by the ministerial name, Rondell Positive. Sticks Nor Stones Reggae Worship is the title of his debut album, and it is also the name of the already hit title cut that has been making the radio rounds.

The single advocates that mountains and obstacles should not hinder praise and worship and expresses Rondell Positive's unique style of music.

When asked about the reason for the album, he siad: "This album was designed to bring Christians to a closer relationship with God and an awareness of who they really are. For the world it's designed to cause each individual to recognise they were born with purpose."

The project will officially launch with a tour dubbed The Overcomer Tour. The first three stops are scheduled for March 2, 2012 at the Portmore Missionary Church; March 9 at the Lighthouse Assembly in Spanish Town; and April 2 at the New Life Assembly of God on Constant Spring Road.

The 17-track, hardcore worship project featured perfect vocals and instrumentals and has several heartfelt songs for good measure, including Slowly But Surely, Overcomer and More Than A Conqueror.

The project also boasts a great mix of must-hear guest appearances from popular vocalist, Jermaine Edwards on You've Been There, Sean Lypher and I-Worship, which sees Rondell pulling out all the stops on Good Bye World, to a duet featuring Alleluia Bwoy on the track Live and Declare, and What About Love with the R&B songstress Alicia Taylor.

Songs such as I'll Never Change and Available Vessel reflect on Rondell's life prior to becoming a Christian.

"I can remember the days when I was a popular deejay. Derogative and far from safe commentary thrown at the church and Christians was what came from my mouth at times. It was like I was a lieutenant in the army of the enemy." This soul crier is certainly grateful for God's grace and mercies, and he is not afraid to sing about it. In this same vein Giving Me More, Your Will Be Done and So In Love are among the offerings.

Sticks Nor Stones Reggae Worship is compact with unified sounds and vibes.

As Rondell describes it: "Reggae worship is my style of music, music from the soul with a real rootsy sound backed by the authentic Word of God!"

Rondell is a worshipper at heart, whose music carries substance and a fresh message that speaks volumes to people of all ages.

His music includes the traditional-day message, wrapped around meaningful contemporary music — with all the catchy lyrics and beats. The album is still distinctively Christ-centred and shows an undeniable anointing on Rondell's life and his talents, which are the by-products of real life experiences and an influential environment.

Rondell Positive has become a force to be reckoned with in the gospel arena. This album speaks volumes and will take you to heavenly realms. It promises to hit you deep and give you a better perspective on life's struggles and God.
