Immediately there was an air of expectancy - Dark Sky Paradise (2015) was very well received after all - and the bar was set pretty high with the two earliest lead singles Moves and Bounce Back.
All in all the 14 track album is a pretty good follow up to Dark Sky Paradise and contains a few songs that are likely to take over radio really soon, and some that mightn't run radio but are still likely to be your new favourite jams.
No Favors (feat. Eminem), Voices In My Head/Stick To The Plan and Sacrifices (feat. Migos) are definite standouts on I Decided.
Owe Me contains a line that might just be the biggest tell tale sign that Big Sean really does study music at the feet of Kanye West; a particular line in the song says 'I feel like you owe me sex' and sounds a whole lot like the verse in Kanye's controversial song Famous that made Kanye public enemy number one once again with Swift and her band of Swifties).Though we're unsure just yet if the song caught our attention despite the dripping arrogance and flagrant lyrics or if our attention was piqued because of the arrogance and flagrant lyrics, this song is one you'll probably want to give a listen to, and we've got a hunch you'll be hearing more of this song in the days, weeks and months to come.
Story tellers and those focused on how lyrical a song is will find easy listening in Sunday Morning Jetpack (feat. The-Dream), the mom-inspired Inspire Me, and the Flint Chozen Choir-assisted Bigger Than Me that closes the album.
