“B is for Bleu, Beautiful, Bikinis, Beaches & Blast of a Weekend” Talk about a tagline!

Between June 1st and 4th, Dream Entertainment hosted over 500 of the country's most dedicated and experienced partiers at the MeliŃ Braco Village in Trelawny for Bleu Weekend. The partygoers enjoyed crafted Appleton Estate Jamaica Rum cocktails, swayed to the beats of deejays Nocturnal, Smoke, Spinn, Jazzy T, Rusti, Kamal Bankay and Selecta Shane, while basking in the tropical wonderland that the Dream team created.

Dream Entertainment co-directors PJ Wright and Kamal Bankay love the Bleu series because it's “the only weekend where we can host and party with our patrons and friends”. But imagine producing a party that comprises five events and takes place over three days? A daunting task for most, but not for Dream Entertainment.

This was the first time MeliŃ Braco hosted Bleu Weekend. The event grew so much each year that it had to be moved from the Grand Palladium Jamaica Resort & Spa. The weekend event was also on hiatus since 2014 and the organisers knew that once its comeback was announced, the event would be oversubscribed.

Unlike Dream Weekend (the other signature weekend event series that Dream Entertainment produces), Bleu offers a complete turnkey solution for its attendees. There is neither the worry of getting back to one's crash pad nor the need to calculate travel times in between outfit changes and naps. Bleu allows the organisers to steer the experience in a way that Dream Weekend's multiple locations prevent.

The Dream team was glad to be able to craft a new experience that delighted both returning and new guests. The attention paid to the most infinitesimal detail, coupled with the signature Appleton cocktails against the backdrop of Trelawny's natural beauty, absolutely 'Bleu' us away.
