Jamaica Excel Sports Management (JAESM), in collaboration with Montego Bay United FC, will be hosting the final day of a football coaching and management seminar at WesPow Park in St James today.

Guided by the theme 'Improving the Coach to Improve the Player', the activity, which started on Wednesday, is being directed by UK-based Bryan Bull.

Participants are exposed to the know-how to observe, study and review high performance coaching and management techniques with Bryan, the academy manager for Gillingham Football Club in the UK.

This 'Improve the Coach to Improve the Player' programme aims to develop coaches working at the school or club level. It aims to equip participants to transform players, clubs and, by extension, communities, as they are taught to understand and apply the elements needed to develop coaches to professional standards.

Through the course, participants will be taught how to identify talent, develop players, and lead clubs into professional football club philosophies, playing style and culture.
