Having brushed aside champions Arnett Gardens in no uncertain manner last week, leaders Portmore United travel to the Compound at 7:00 pm aiming to add the scalp of Harbour View to their growing list of conquered teams.

In four other games on today, Cavalier SC host Boys' Town FC, Tivoli Gardens FC travel to Humble Lion FC, Montego Bay United play Waterhouse FC, and The University of the West Indies FC tackle Sandals South Coast FC.

Tomorrow, champions Arnett Gardens take on FC Reno at Anthony Spaulding Sports Complex.

The marauding Portmore United lead the table with 44 points, seven clear Arnett Gardens, and they could increase that advantage to double digits. Standing in Portmore's way is an inconsistent Harbour View sitting in ninth spot on 21 points. There is a 23-point difference between the teams but, today, it is expected to be much closer on the field of play. But Portmore won the first encounter 1-0 and are favoured to repeat.

The impressive Portmore United are a well-rounded, well-drilled outfit and are getting goals all over the park, and it is no surprise they have scored a league-high 44 goals from 20 games.

Leading the charge is Javon East, who is the league's top scorer with 12 goals, and Ricardo Morris not far behind on 10 goals.

Harbour View, on the other hand, are really struggling for goals, registering a league-low 12 goals while conceding 15 times. That output as left them perilously close to the relegation zone, sitting just five points above it.

The expected influx of young schoolboy scoring machines have not materialised for Harbour View as yet as Jamaica College's Tyreek Magee, Rashawn Mackison of Kingston College and Clarendon College's, Nique Daley are not playing for one reason or the other. However Magee has been training and could feature sooner than later.

But the 'Stars of the East' will have to bring their A game if they are going to get a point from a very good Portmore aggregation.

At Effortville Community Centre, third-placed Tivoli Gardens on 36 points could go second if they beat a Humble Lion team in 10th spot with 21 points.

Tivoli Gardens have won three of their last five games and will be boosted by the fact that they blanked Humble Lion 2-0 in the first round.

However, since then Humble Lion have strengthened with the inclusion of top striker Craig Foster from Reno. He has 10 goals, but he has not opened his account for his new club and Tivoli Gardens must be wary of the dangerous threat he poses.

In-form Cavalier will be hunting their fourth-consecutive victory when they host struggling Boys' Town at Stadium East field starting at 3:00 pm. Cavalier are fourth on 31 points, while the “Red Brigades” are rooted at the bottom of the 12-team league with 12 points.

Every game is now a must-win for Boys' Town as the pressure mounts with relegation looking more and more a reality.

Former champions Montego Bay United tackle the improving Waterhouse at WesPow Park starting at 3:00 pm. Montego Bay are unusually out of a play-off spot, lying in eighth position on 22 points. Waterhouse are holding onto the last play-off spot in sixth position with 25 points. Waterhouse are unbeaten in their last five games, while Montego Bay have won just once in their last five games.

Fifth-placed (UWI), on 26 points, host an improved-looking Sandals South Coast lying in 11th spot on 16 points.

UWI will be looking to consolidate their play-off position, while Sandals will aim is to climb out of the relegation zone. They are sitting five points adrift of Humble Lion.

The promoted Sandals have brought in Claudius Blackburn, Markino Gillings and the promising number 10 Nazine Matalie from daCosta Cup champions Rusea's High School. It should be an interesting game at the Mona Bowl.
