At midday today, Telecommunications firm FLOW will open a text platform to facilitate ticket purchases for the inaugural FLOW Party Zone expected to unfold on the final day (Saturday) of the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys' and Girls' Championships.

The first 300 FLOW customers to text the word “CHAMPS” to 444-4247 will, along with a guest, enjoy complimentary refreshments, free Wi-Fi, giveaways and shade from the direct sunlight in the northern bleachers of the National Stadium. The text message will attract a premium charge of $4,000 and entitles the sender to two (2) tickets.

“Party Zoners” will receive a text message confirmation with instructions for collecting their tickets and will use Gate 2 of the bleachers for entry on Saturday.

“The FLOW Party Zone will be a high-energy, high-excitement area — the ideal spot for athletics fans who also want an enhanced experience in the stadium. It also provides an attractive alternative to the grandstand in terms of cost and comfort,” said Stephen Miller, sponsorship and events manager. He further explained that the company will be installing shade cloths to help keep patrons cool during the event.

“We are working with ISSA (Inter-secondary Schools Sports Association) and some of the best event execution specialists in the business to ensure smooth delivery and a truly memorable experience for the patrons as they witness the electrifying performances of our student-athletes on the track,” Miller also added.

GraceKennedy through its Lishous drink brand has also partnered with FLOW and will be keeping patrons refreshed and comfortable throughout the day.

Colleen Montague, chairman of the Champs organising committee, expressed excitement at the prospect of the new zone. “At ISSA, we welcome any new idea that will enhance our programmes, and this year we believe that the new FLOW Party Zone will be a great addition for our patrons at Champs. We are also very happy to see such a high level of enthusiasm and collaboration among our sponsors to bring new energy to the Championships,” she commented.

This year marks the 15th consecutive year that FLOW has partnered with ISSA to stage the Games.
