Williams retains his Class One 100m title

Munro College's CARIFTA Games Under-20 200m champion Delano Williams (right) retains his Class One 100m title and the sprint double at the Milo COCAA Western Champs, beating Green Island's IAAF World Youth Champions Odail Todd (left) at the Montego Bay Sports Complex yesterday. Williams ran a personal best and meet record 10.34 seconds to win the 100m, while Todd ran a personal best 10.42. Williams then ran a personal best 20.53 seconds to win the 200m, with Todd equalling his personal best 21.00. Herbert Morrison's Gawain Williams won the Boys Class Two sprint double, while Seidatha Palmer also of Herbert Morrison won the Girls Class One sprint double. (Photo: Paul Reid)
