Super League resumes with full slate of games

After a two-week break, the KSAFA Super League returns this afternoon with a full slate of games.
In today's return fixtures, second-placed Rae Town travel to third-placed Mountain View in the round's feature match at Exclesior High School.
In other games, Cavalier play away to Olympic Gardens at Cling Cling Oval, UWI face Barbican at UWI Bowl, Greenwich Town entertain August Town at Tinson Pen, Santos host Constant Spring at Bell/Chung Oval and Duhaney Park play Rockfort at Baldwin Crescent. All starting at 3:00 pm.
After 11 matches, defending champion Cavalier lead the standings with 24 points, one ahead of Rae Town in second place. Following the leaders are third-place Mountain View with 19 points, Barbican 18, August Town and Greenwich Town 17 each, Olympic 14, Rockfort, Constant Spring and Santos on 11 apiece, while Duhaney Park and UWI occupy the relegation zone with nine and eight points, respectively.
The return games in the Major League competition also get underway this afternoon, but not from a mid-season break.
In today's games, Allman/Woodford play away to Maxfield Park, Meadforest entertain Molynes at Queensborough, New Kingston take on Brown's Town at Heroes Circle, Pembroke Hall play Shortwood at Pembroke Hall playing field, Swallowfield are at home to Cooreville and Bull Bay tackle Real Mona at Bull Pen. All starting at 3:00 pm.
After 12 rounds of games, Police National with 28 points, lead the table by a point over Allman/Woodford, despite playing a game more.
Real Mona are next in the standings with 20 points, followed by Shortwood and Maxfield on 19 each, Pembroke Hall 18, Brown's Town 16, Bull Bay 15, Meadforest 14, Cooreville and New Kingston 11 each.
Swallowfield and Molynes sit at the bottom with nine and four points, respectively.
