Jamaica Para Youth delegation settles in Sao Paulo
The Jamaican delegation to the 2017 Youth Parapan American Games has settled in comfortably at the Holiday Inn, Sao Paulo, to prepare for and await the start of competition this week.
This is the first time that Jamaica is being represented at these games, which takes place every four years.
Sport Manager Neville Sinclair, along with Dr Leroy Harrison, left the island recently with the team on a journey which took them to Panama and finally to Sao Paulo where over 1,000 young athletes from the Americas have assembled for what promises to be a very competitive games.
“We have settled in well; training is going fine and the reception has been great,” Sinclair said.
