J'can women through to 4x400m final tomorrow

Jamaica ran a season’s best of 3:25:15 to take Heat 1 of the women’s 4x400m semifinals.

The team of Christine Day, Shareefa Lloyd, Shericka Williams and Rosemarie Whyte put on a strong performance without the national champion, Novlene Williams-Mills, who will be included in the final.

Second was Ukraine in 2:25:90 while France took third in 3:25:94.
