Even though he studied medical technology at the University of Technology, Jamaica music has been a calling for singer Silk Legend, whose latest single is Dusk Til Dawn.

He recently released the video for the song, which he plans to include on his first album due next year.

“The inspiration behind Dusk Til Dawn is derived from the struggles that we face daily. Coming from St Thomas, which is considered one of the poorest parishes in Jamaica, the song speaks to what one can do to overcome hardships by working hard,” Silk Legend explained.

Born Garnel Junor, Silk Legend hails from the town of Lyssons and recorded his first song in 2013.

His previous songs include System, Freedom Street and Beautiful. All are produced by Silky Gosh Productions.
