New York-based, Jamaican-born singer Keishera released her sophomore album It's Me in October. The 13-track set is an eclectic mix of reggae and soul standards.

The album is led by the first single Beautiful Mind.

“I've put my heart and soul into this project because I wanted to create a wonderful album for my fans. I'm very pleased with the response it's getting. I think it has the potential to be a huge hit internationally,” Keishera told the Jamaica Observer.

“I'm grateful to all people who helped to make this project a reality and all the DJ's who are supporting my music,” she continued.

Other tracks include Pull Over, Mad Over Me, Missing You, Slave to the System, and I'm Ready Now.

Keishera (full name Keishera James) began her professional career as a teen model, appearing in American publications including Essence and Heart & Soul magazine. She also appeared in commercials for Iman Cosmetics.

Having launched her musical career in 2004 with the song So Good on the Young Blood label, Keishera has collaborated with a few entertainers including Shaggy.

She has done work with producers including Paul Henton, Barry O'Hare, Sly Gordon, and Christopher Birch.
