His father Willie Francis scored hit songs in the late 1960s and early 1970s with Oh What A Mini, Ripe Sour Sop and I'm Going to Change Everything . Singer Goldy is hoping to make a similar impact.

Goldy's latest song is All Day, produced by Point 9 Records/Skunk House Records. It was released in February.

All Day is a nice, sexy dancehall song for the ladies, and they are responding to it positively. Everywhere I go, girls come up to me and tell me that they love it,” Goldy said in an interview with this column.

Before launching his recording career, Goldy (given name Fabian Francis) worked as a studio engineer for artistes including Richie Spice, Junior Kelly, Luciano and Junior Reid.

Some of his previous releases include No War, Mini Skirt (featuring Chronixx), Rasta Holiday and Better Change.

He is currently working on his first album.

“The album is coming together very nicely and I am pleased with the songs that I've recorded so far. I haven't set a release date for the project as yet, but I would like to put it out before the end of this year,” he said.
