Flying with Iration

Santa Barbara, California-based reggae band Iration debuted at number one on the US iTunes Reggae Songs chart last Friday with their latest single Fly with Me. It is the first single from the group's upcoming fifth studio album.Iration is preparing to hit the road for several dates across the United States with Slightly Stoopid.

To promote the song, the group recently launched the Fly with Me sweepstakes, where the grand prize winner will receive tickets to their concerts, among other prizes.

The Hawaiian-bred group comprises Micah Pueschel (lead vocals/guitar), Adam Taylor (bass), Joseph Dickens (drums), Cayson Peterson (keyboard/synth) and Micah Brown (guitar/vocals).

The two-month tour –– which also features J Boog and The Movement –– kicks off Thursday, June 8 in Baltimore and will stop in Philadelphia, Boston, Brooklyn (June 16 at the Ford Amphitheater at Coney Island Boardwalk), Charleston, Boca Raton, Raleigh, Asbury Park, Detroit, Chicago, Berkeley, Santa Barbara, Dallas, Houston and Albuquerque, among many others, before wrapping Thursday, August 24 at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.

Iration has charted five titles on the Billboard Reggae album chart. Their most recent effort, Double Up, an acoustic set, peaked at number two last December. It re-entered the chart at number 10 last week.
