FOR years, overseas-based artistes have sought recognition in Jamaica. Some like Maxi Priest, Shinehead and Bling Dawg have done well, others have not.

Don Vince, who lives in Detroit, Michigan, was recently in Jamaica promoting his latest song, With Me. Released last October by his Don Vince Productions, It features Sean Mattis.

“I had a great time in Jamaica, I got a very warm reception at all the media houses that I went to and the vibe in the street was awesome,” said Don Vince.

He added, “I used the opportunity to also shoot videos for some singles that I plan to release later this year. I plan to return to Jamaica very soon to continue doing promotion.”

Don Vince was born Vincent McCormmock in Exchange, St Ann. He migrated to the United States 22 years ago.

The deejay launched his recording career in March 2017 with the song, Fun Time, featuring Sean Mattis.

Don Vince is working on new songs for an EP, which he hopes to release this year.
