Revelation FC’s Orlando Gilpin went on a goalscoring spree on Tuesday, scoring five times to lead his team to a 6-0 win over Mountain Villa FC in a clash between cellar dwellers in the St James Football Association Sandals International Senior League third-round game at Spot Valley High.

After Oliver Marston gave the visitors the lead in the 33rd minute, Gilpin took over to produce one of the best displays of scoring in a single game in the local league.

Gilpin got his first goal in the 43rd minute as Revelation FC, who won only one of their eight prior games, led 2-0 at half-time.

He made it 3-0 in the 52nd minute, then completed his hat-trick in the 60th minute, before adding goals in the 61st and 65th minutes.

The win took Revelation to nine points as they moved out of ninth place in the 10-team league, up one spot to eighth. Mountain Villa stayed rooted at the foot of the table on four points.

In another game at the UDC field featuring the top two teams, leaders Catherine Hall and second-placed Lilliput Rovers played out a 0-0 draw.

Catherine Hall are on 23 points, five more than second-placed Lilliput Rovers, both from nine games.
