TUCKER, St James - Montego Bay United (MBU) seek to maintain their momentum in the Red Stripe Premier League on Sunday when they host the winless Humble Lion at WesPow Park. The mtach is set to start at 3:30 pm.

Montego Bay United are returning to Wespow Park for the first time since losing their opening game to Tivoli Gardens, having picked up seven points in their last three games.

Both western teams, MBU and FC Reno scored wins last weekend. MBU 2-1 over Harbour View in Kingston, while FC Reno got their first points when they edged UWI FC 1-0 at Frome.

FC Reno are away on Sunday at Prison Oval where they will face defending champions Portmore United.

It has been close going in the RSPL as just three points separate the top eight teams after four rounds of games, and MBU could be vying for the lead if they beat the Clarendon-based club on Sunday.

At this stage last year MBU were on one point and had lost three straight games before beating then promoted Sandals South Coast for their first win.

Since taking over as coach, Vassell Reynolds has revived the fortunes of the team after one of their bleakest seasons.

Humble Lion have been one of Montego Bay United's toughest opponents in the last few seasons but have not beaten them since the 2016-17, managing just two draws in their last six meetings.

However, Humble Lion have lost a number of their key players over the last two years and have so far managed to score just two goals in four games this season. Both of their points were secured in their last two games.

While three of their four goals so far have come from defenders, MBU have been improving with each game. and playing on familiar home turf, are expected to get the better of a Humble Lion team that is still trying to find its best form.

Another large turnout is expected at the Wespow Park come Sunday.
