The National Works Agency (NWA) says the section of the Junction road in St Mary which has been closed for rehabilitation will be opened to vehicular traffic today.

NWA, in a news release, said this is to facilitate motorists who plan to use the road to access northern parishes for the Independence holiday.

The NWA release said the area remains an active construction zone, and motorists are therefore being urged to obey posted warning signs. The road will again be closed tomorrow at 9:00 am.

Access will once more be restricted from Broadgate to Westmoreland Bridge.
