Japan training for Clarendon's disaster coordinator

MAY PEN, Clarendon — Clarendon is set to benefit from a training programme in Japan which is aimed at the creation and implementation of Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) strategies in order to build more resilient communities.

A news release said the parish disaster coordinator at the Clarendon Municipal Corporation, Eleanor Coombs, has been selected as a participant in this year's Community Based Training Programme which is being implemented by the Japan International Corporation Agency (JICA).
