Poor road surfaces represent a long-standing problem in Clarendon and wider Jamaica. Heavy rains over recent months have only made the situation worse. This scene was captured on the Denbigh main road, just outside May Pen last Wednesday. Residents in the area and local transport operators recently staged roadblock protests to highlight the conditions. (Photo: Gregory Bennett)
