Opposition Leader and St Andrew East Central Member of Parliament Peter Phillips on Thursday hosted a Christmas luncheon for the constituency's senior citizens. More than 150 elders were treated, entertained and presented with gifts. Dr Phillips, in paying tribute to those in attendance, said it is very important that the elders in the nation are thanked for their contribution, as they have given much to the development of our communities. Here, Phillips presents 74-year-old Tarolyn Warren of Maxfield Avenue with her Christmas 'hamper' at the luncheon held at Jacisera Park.
