Victims in deadly Trelawny crash identified

FALMOUTH, Trelawny — The three women who died in two-vehicle collision in Trelawny yesterday have been identified.
They are Gloria Capleton, 76, of New York, Claudette Grant, 53, and Vanessa Brown, 34, both of Maryland, US addresses.
One of the women, it is unclear which, died on the spot while the other two died at hospital.
The three were passengers in a Nissan Tiida motor car that collided with a Toyota Coaster bus at about 11:00am along the Braco main road.
The elderly woman, her daughter and granddaughter were in the island for the holiday season.
They left Kingston yesterday morning and were heading to the Sangster's International Airport to board a flight to return to the US, the Observer understands.
Several others were injured in the deadly crash.
The driver of the car is in hospital in stable condition while another man, also traveling in the motor car, was treated at hospital and released.
Injured passengers and the driver of the bus, which was transporting 20 cruise ship visitors, were all treated and released.
