Three injured as gunman opens fire at minibus

MAY PEN, Clarendon - Two students and a labourer were shot by a lone gunman who opened fire on the bus they were travelling on in Clarendon yesterday.

The incident took place in Breadnut Valley, in the vicinity of the HEART institution at around 4:40pm.

Reports are that the three men were inside a coaster bus when an armed man emerged from the bushes and opened fire on it.

The labourer is said to be 34 years old and was admitted to the hospital in serious condition.

The other injured are 19 and 20-year-old students of the nearby HEART institute. Both were treated and released.

The May Pen Criminal Investigation Branch is investigating.
