Suitcase baby couple found fit to plead

PSYCHIATRIC evaluations conducted on a Canadian couple whose infant son's decomposing body was found in a suitcase inside the Kingston home, have found that they are fit to plead.
The revelation was made when the couple Stephanie and Alphanso Warren, appeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court today.
They have been charged with concealing the death of a child and failure to bury a body.
The couple was arrested by the Hunts Bay police after vigilant neighbours bomb rushed their Osbourne Avenue home in search of the child who had gone missing for months.
The residents found the body in a suitcase and summoned the cops.
The couple was remanded in custody until March 2.
