Pregnant Clarendon woman was strangled

CLARENDON, Jamaica - Post mortem examination on the body of 28-year-old Tanisha Hamilton that was found in a water tank at her home in Thompson Pen, Clarendon on November 1 revealed the cause of death to be asphyxia, due to manual strangulation. 

Hamilton was eight months pregnant.

Hamilton’s common-law husband has since been taken into custody.
