Old Harbour residents want cops in their town

THE people of Old Harbour are calling on the police high command to increase the number of police persons in the town as they have been doing in other hotspots.
Several persons told the Observer that they suspect that criminals are moving from areas that are under curfew, and into to the St Catherine town.
"We want to see more of a police presence as in recent months we have been seeing a number of strange faces in the area," said one resident.
The police high command has stepped up the security presence in St Catherine hotspots as the murder figures climb.
One hundred and sixty five people have been murdered since the start of the year, with St Catherine being one of the parishes accounting for most of the murders.
