Murder suspect found in Jamaica, extradited

KINGSTON, Jamaica — A murder suspect is back in a Broward jail cell in Florida after being found and arrested in Jamaica.

The SunSentinel newspaper reported that Shawn Edwards was arrested in Red Hills, St Andrew and was extradited to the United States on Tuesday.

He was charged with premeditated murder.

Edwards is accused of fatally shooting Kevin K Manning after an argument in Lauderhill, Florida in April 2010.

The nearly three-year search included several anonymous tips, sightings, and help from the US Marshals.
