More cops out in Spanish Town

MEMBERS of the security forces have increased their presence in Spanish Town and its environs following recent threats levelled at law enforcement officials in that area.
Reports are that gang members have issued threats for the second time in as many weeks following the shooting death of Rennard 'Roderick' Harrison, a top member of the Klansman gang.
Harris was cut down in a police operation in Cherry Gardens, St Andrew.
Since the operation, the police high command has raised the threat level and warned members of the security forces to be on full alert.
This morning a large detachment of police and soldiers was seen in the area carrying out house-to-house searches.
A military helicopter was also seen hovering over the town as the cops carried out their operation.
