Man killed, cop injured in shooting incident

KINGSTON, Jamaica - A policeman was shot and injured and a man fatally shot during a confrontation with the police early this morning on Red Hills Road in St. Andrew.

The policeman is currently receiving treatment in hospital while the man who was fatally shot is unidentified.

A Glock-19 pistol with three rounds was seized in the incident, the police say.
