MP recuperating well

Wednesday, April 04, 2012

MEMBER of Parliament for Eastern Portland Dr Lynvale Bloomfield underwent successful surgery yesterday to repair damage done to his hip, the ruling People's National Party (PNP) said in a release yesterday.

The MP injured his hip in an accident last week.

Yesterday's operation was performed by consultant orthopedic surgeon, Dr Konrad Lawson of the Kingston Public Hospital, and the MP who was said to be recuperating well was asked to rest for a couple weeks before resuming full duties.

"He remains in good spirits and is grateful for the many prayers and well wishes received," said the PNP.
