Gun, ammo seized in MoBay

ST JAMES, Jamaica — Police seized an illegal firearm and ammunition in Norwood Gardens, Montego Bay, St James yesterday.
The Montego Hills police report that about 6:00 pm, a team of officers was on an operation when several premises were searched. One AK47 assault rifle with serial number erased, one 7.62 cartridge and ten .38 cartridges were seized.
No one was arrested in connection with the find.
Investigations continue.
