Gas prices drop $1.76 per litre

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Petrojam has announced a drop in ex-refinery gasoline prices effective Thursday January 17.

The prices of 87 and 90-octane gasoline have decreased by $1.76 and will now be sold for $100.75 and $102.40 per litre respectively.

However, automotive diesel oil has seen a price increase of 54 cents, it will now be sold for $109.65 per litre.

Kerosene oil is increased by $2.47 and will now be sold for $112.45 per litre.

Meanwhile, after a price decrease of 88 cents, propane liquid petroleum will now be sold for $33.48 per litre, while butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $54.41 per litre after a decrease of $3.33.

Retailers will add their mark up.
