Fire destroys Mount Salem house

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Fire destroyed an eight-bedroom house, causing loss of approximately $3 million, in St James yesterday.
Reports are that fire was seen coming from the board and concrete structure in Crawford district, Mount Salem around 9:10pm.
Neighbours assisted the two elderly owners who were inside the house and called the police and fire department.
Two units from the Montego Bay Fire Station responded.
The house was not insured.
