KINGSTON, Jamaica — A 55-year-old man was chopped to death at his home in Spanish Town, St Catherine on Sunday.
Kenneth Kerr of Nugent Street, died as a result of injuries he received around noon, the Spanish Town Police said.
Information is that Kerr was found in his yard with multiple chop wounds.

KINGSTON, Jamaica - Fire of unknown origin destroyed a building at Union Square in Cross Roads, Kingston this morning.
Reports are that at about 3:00 am passersby saw smoke coming from a section of the business place and raised an alarm.
Fire fighters arrived on the scene and were able to bring the blaze under control.
Investigations are at this time being conducted to ascertain the extent of the damage and source of the fire
