Body of NWC worker fished from wastewater plant

THE body of National Water Commission (NWC) employee David Chatterpaul was Tuesday night fished from the company's Mineral Heights Wastewater Treatment Plant.
Chatterpaul was earlier reported missing by family members and co-workers, and the May Pen police, who are now investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident, were called in. Following a search the body was found in the wastewater treatment plant.
The NWC, which yesterday expressed regrets at the "most tragic and unfortunate loss of life", has initiated grief counselling for family members as well as staff who worked closely with Chatterpaul.
