70 pounds of ganja seized in Parottee

ST ELIZABETH, Jamaica — Members of the Operational Support Team (OST) of the Black River Police seized approximately 70 pounds of ganja on the Parottee main road in St Elizabeth between yesterday evening and Friday morning.

The Black River police report that between 8:00 pm and 7:30 am an operation was conducted in sections of South St Elizabeth. A motorcar was intercepted on the main road, searched and the ganja found.

No arrests were made as the driver escaped.

Investigations are ongoing.
