Young children among 8 injured in Trelawny crash

TRELAWNY, Jamaica — At least eight people, including six primary and basic school students, are now in hospital following a two-vehicle collision on the Martha Brae to Falmouth main road this morning.

Alleged eyewitness reports are that about 8:05 am, a Toyota Camry motorcar was travelling towards Falmouth with the students when it collided with a Toyota Axio motor car.

The Axio reportedly overturned, while the other vehicle was badly damaged.

 The drivers of both vehicles and the students are said to be in serious condition. Emergency vehicles and the police are now at the scene of the crash.
