Two Jamaicans denied entry to T&T, not 20Friday, October 11, 2013
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade has denied reports carried in the media Thursday that 20 Jamaicans were denied entry into Trinidad and Tobago on Wednesday at the Piarco International Airport.
The Ministry said that only two Jamaicans were denied entry on Wednesday night and that they have since returned to Jamaica.
The two arrived in the island Friday on the Caribbean Airlines BW 474 flight.
"Our information suggests that the two may not have satisfied immigration requirements into Trinidad and Tobago," the ministry said in a release Friday.
