DETECTIVES from the May Pen Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) are now probing the circumstances which led to the killing of a woman at her home in Dampie District, Clarendon last night.

She is 44-year-old vendor, Dahlia Drummond.

Reports from detectives assigned to the case are that about 8:30 pm, Drummond was at home with relatives when a blue Toyota motorcar pulled up to her gate. She went to investigate and reportedly had a brief discussion with the driver, who exited the car. He pulled a gun, shot her, and drove away.

Drummond was taken to the May Pen Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
