THE Government of Jamaica has partnered with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the Compete Caribbean Programme to host a Jamaica Investment Forum next month in Montego Bay, St James.
The forum will be held on March 1 and 2 at the Montego Bay Convention Centre and will bring together international investors and local public and private sector representatives.
The forum agenda will address Jamaica's pro-business investment climate and will feature a mix of top speakers, sector experts and existing investors in Jamaica, in addition to in-depth business sessions designed to explore the details of investment-ready projects.
Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller will preside over the opening session.
Among the IDB participants will be the organisation's vice-president for the private sector, Ancile Brewster.
