GSAT results early next weekBY LUKE DOUGLAS Observer staff reporter firstname.lastname@example.org
THE results of this year’s Grade Six Achievement Test (GSAT) are to be released early next week.
Acting director of communications in the Ministry of Education Sheryl Bromfield told The Jamaica Observer that the results of the exams should be with the schools on Monday or Tuesday.
She said a press conference will be held on Wednesday to discuss the results.
The GSAT is the main examination used for placement of primary-level students in secondary schools for the next school year beginning September.
More than 44,000 primary, independent (preparatory) and home-schooled students sat the GSAT on March 22 and 23.
