DETECTIVES from the Linstead Police Station in St Catherine are this morning delving for clues to solve the shooting deaths of two men, and the injuring of two others, by gunmen at the intersection of King Street and Fletchers Avenue in the town last night.

Dead are 30-year-old Damion Gordon, otherwise called ‘Shabba’ and Gary Litchmore, 40, both vendors and residents of Linstead. The injured men are a truck driver and a taxi driver, who are also from St Catherine addresses.

Reports are that about 8:40 pm, three men armed with guns exited a Toyota Surf motor vehicle and opened fire killing Gordon and injuring Litchmore and the truck driver, before speeding away.

Shortly afterwards, the armed men went to East Avenue where they shot and injured the taxi driver before escaping on foot in the area. The injured men were taken to hospital where Litchmore died while being treated, and the others admitted in serious condition.
