The Ultimate Wedding Experience
Monday, February 13, 2012
Planning a wedding is perhaps the most stressful part of tying the knot. However, Intuit Concepts and the Wyndham Kingston Hotel are lending a helping hand and have created an ideal concept — the Wyndham Wedding Spectacular. The two-day event, slated to be held on February 18 and 19, promises to make the wedding planning process a less anxiety-filled experience for brides and grooms-to-be.
Intuit Concepts director Kibwe McGann told AW that the Wyndham Bridal Spectacular will see some 40 exhibitors participating and showcasing wedding-themed services that include make-up, photography, catering, floral arrangements and dress design. Exhibitors will create interactive lounge-like areas and booths for couples to relax and learn more about the necessary steps to plan their special day. "Exhibitors were selected and invited based on the quality of their products, and credible customer referrals," McGann further informed.
Patrons of the event will be given the opportunity to sample champagnes and wines, in addition to gourmet food and hors d'oeuvres created by Jonathan Kastner, the hotel's taskforce director of food and beverages. The samples form part of the Wyndham Kingston Hotel's Lifestyle Brand, an off-site event catering service that will be launched at the exhibition.
Wedding dress designer Nandi Chin and destination-wedding photographer Marcia Roberts will also be on hand on Sunday to make special presentations to lucky couples. Nandi Chin, the 2011 winner of Brides magazine 'Operation Dream Dress' contest, will be giving one lucky bride-to-be a wedding dress valued at US$5,000 from her latest collection. Meanwhile, photographer Marcia Roberts will be on hand to introduce the 'Trash The Dress' concept to guests with live and pictorial demonstrations by Wyndham Kingston's poolside. The photographer will offer a free wedding photography package valued at US$3000 to eligible couples.
Tickets for the Wedding Spectacular can be purchased at Kerry manwomanhome, 18 South Avenue or The Wyndham Kingston Hotel at 77 Knutsford Boulevard.
