People Power

US presidential candidate Newt Gingrich declared Saturday last, "We've proved, here in South Carolina, that people of power with the right ideas beats big money". Indeed, can you imagine a combination of both here on The Rock?

And there he was walking around feigning despair as the whispers got louder about the paltry sum given by him to the candidate he sooo wanted to win.

Bad Mind And...

Surely his friends and party could not have engineered the fall from grace.

Indeed, they are. The question many are asking is, where were they all hiding?

The succession planning is complete with the bar now raised so high that, what's that line again? Oh yes: "We are the bar!" Brace for the venom.

The plot thickens and if plans go well, the transition might be even more 'genius' than the abrupt resignation. FYI, it's not the obvious one.

Those frantic calls made to secure the funds on Friday, December 30, were deemed by many to be "in such poor taste"... Not so, declared the vocal belle. "It still takes cash to care!" Ouch! I guess London won't be calling anytime soon.

The infamous house is, we gather, up for sale. The former is in search of a more compact home. No word yet as to the Madame.
