Meghan Fabulous is no stranger to Jamaica, so it comes as no surprise that her latest collection was inspired by The Rock. What we love to applaud is that uncanny knack of hers to drape a woman's body — invariably in bold hues of silk — at once sensuous but coy — a contradiction that complex women crave but are often unable to express. Thanks to Meghan Fabulous there’s one less thing to stress about.

Meghan's Inspiration:

When staring at the blank canvas that was to be my first collection of Boheme, I returned to my point of inspiration: Jamaica. Not only was it the sights and the sounds, but it was also the amazing people and their spirits that created an intoxicating energy that was impossible to ignore. For the past six years of travel to Jamaica, I have tried to pinpoint what drives this spirit; I realised the island embraces movement ...movement as one people, one heart, and one song. I want this essence to shine through my clothing, and to be as unique as the women who wear it. Each piece is constructed as one-of-a-kind using hand-painted or recycled materials. The collection is near and dear to my heart; I dedicate it to my Jamaican friends and all they taught me about their zest for life.

AS TOLD EXCLUSIVELY TO SO

Meghan plans to return to Jamaica in December to host and launch the collection, possibly with other designers, touring multiple parishes to say thank you to the amazing women who have inspired her and this collection. S O will keep you posted.
