Lounge looks!
Rock the cloth
Saturday, March 31, 2012
We move from last week's playful looks to the more relaxed lounge looks. Lounge looks - loose garments in lightweight cotton/lycra blend that allow freedom of movement without imposing restrictions - like caftan-style dresses, long skirts and flared trousers, are great on weekends when we want to simply relax indoors or outdoors: alone with a book or hang out with friends.
The looks we feature today are long skirts in varied fabric types and styles.
Look 1: form-fitting skirt with a tank top
Look 2: wide skirt with tank top
Look 3: wide skirt with white shirt for a less dressed up, relaxed look
Steps: knit skirt
1. Cut front and back and a waistband.
2. Join skirt at the side seams.
3. Join skirt to the waistband
4. Finish seam edges.
5. Hem.
